Tattoo Ink Brands for Professional Artists

My name is Eddie Tana, and I've been tattooing for over 30 years. In that time, I've run ink through just about every brand on the market, watched formulas change, watched some brands disappear, and watched others earn their spot on every station in the shop. These are the brands we carry and why. Again this is only my opinion "Eddie Tana"

Element Tattoo Ink

Our own line came out of years of being unhappy with what else was on the market. So decided to create my own. Element ink is made in the USA with simple ingredients, and it's built for artists who want solid, consistent tones without paying for a name on the bottle. It flows smoothly for lining and shading alike, and same pigment load, which is the whole game when you're matching color across a multi-session piece.

Eternal Tattoo Ink

Eternal is the brand most artists reach for first. The color range is massive, the pigment is smooth, and it heals true to what you laid down. Eternal tattoo inks allows you a full spectrum of colors It's consistent from bottle to bottle, which matters more than people realize when you're matching skin tones across a full sleeve.

Dynamic Tattoo Ink

If you need one ink for lining and shading day in and day out, Dynamic Black is the standard. It's thin enough for detail work and thick enough to pack solid.Β

Dermaglo Tattoo Ink

Dermaglo built its name on versatility. One system covers lining, shading, gray wash, and full color work, so you're not juggling five different brands for one piece. The color stays vibrant through healing, which is the real test.

Panthera Tattoo Ink

Panthera has a loyal following among black and gray artists. The saturation is deep black and the application is smooth, especially for soft gray builds where control matters more than speed.Β

Radiant Colors Tattoo Ink

Radiant Colors built its name on bold, saturated color that holds up over time. Artists doing heavy color realism and neo-traditional work reach for Radiant when they need a shade to stay true through healing, I use Radiant color in my tattoo shop

Brand names matter less than these things:

  • Consistent pigment load from batch to batch.
  • Reliable flow through your specific applications of tattoo machien meaning coil tattoo artist and rotary both have a different style of laying down inks in the skin.
